THE WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES, NATIONAL COUNCIL CHURCHES, AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EVANGELICALS

WHEREAS the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture is declared by the Word of God, rendering the Scriptures inerrant, infallible, authoritative and all-sufficient, and,

WHEREAS the World Council of Churches and the National Council of Churches represent those theological innovations of recent centuries which deny the inerrancy, infallibility, authority and sufficiency of Scripture, and therefore embody institutionalized apostasy, and

WHEREAS the National Association of Evangelicals and its agencies, in disobedience to the Word of God, foster and advance unity between those who subscribe to this apostasy and those who profess allegiance to the Word of God, and,

WHEREAS the National Association of Evangelicals with its new evangelical philosophy includes individuals who deny the inerrancy of Scripture,

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that we denounce and protest the World Council of Churches, the National Council of Churches and the National Association of Evangelicals with their denial of Scripture and refusal to adhere to its inerrancy, sufficiency and authority, and that we call upon true believers who remain in churches which are members of these organizations to obey God's Word by separating from all forms of religion that deny Scripture or condone those who do.
